  1. Nice win MrSmith! I'll try to look through the whole game tonight.

  2. Very nice, MrSmith. I especially liked Hands 29 and 47. Diamonds were very good to you! Interesting that early on it was folded around to you three times in the BB -- are these tourneys always that tight or was this unusual? And you folded all your weak aces until after Hand 100 -- what's up with that? I would probably have hit the panic button and shoved on Hands 53 and 82 among others but you picked up pocket aces a few hands later so your patience paid off.

  3. Ty Benko! I was pretty pleased with myself for getting away from HH 44, then I had decent reads on both the limpers in HH 47. Blinds had just risen to 200/400, so I figured if I didn't move there, my stack would be crippeled next orbit. The folds to my BB were nice, the player in my SB at this time was extremely tight.
HH 52 I'm also pleased to get away from, although I'm probably ahead (he was very loose).
HH 53 Yes, I agree. I did think for a while there.
HH 57 Don Renato was a standard good ABC player, his limp call made me suspicious of a trap. It did however give me some new notes for later.
HH 72 is last hand before FT, I was swetting there as he used a long time before folding.
HH 82 Priddsy on the button has a huge stack + I know the BB is calling anything (I have doubled up these guys soooooooooooooo many times with better pf hands).
I also like HH 88. HH 95 is desperate, but my tight image scared everybody except the BB off. HH 101 helps, lol - you need some lucky breaks.

  4. Nice game MrSmith

I dont have time to go hand for hand, but here are some general comments where it seems our lines differ.

I was quite surprized by your play late in the game. Usually we seem to play the same range, but here you folded several hands that I would have gladly pushed, especially 82.

Also, there seemed to be a fair amount of post flop passivity that you could posibly have taken advantage of with a minimum bet on the turn, but I dont know the other players.

Finally, I still hate your preflop minraises late in the game and short stacked. It decreases your fold equity. Furthermore, if you get reraised all in, there is no way you can fold because you are priced in. We can look at the math another day :)

You had some really nice hands too, but they have been mentioned already.

Well, that's my two cents. All in all a nice game and a nice cash. Congrats!

  6. You won a nice game, which is more than I can say recently! I mention what I do differently, but that certainly does not mean that my way is the right way. GG
